Waid participates in several important shows each year and is on the Board of Directors for the New Mexico Arts and Crafts Fair. Waid is one of only 40 invited artists for the Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters 2008 National Event!

The Rio Grande Credit Union is sponsoring a show of twenty-plus paintings by artist J. Waid Griffin. An Open House is being held to view the work and meet the artist on Thursday, July 9, 2009, from 6p.m.-8:p.m. The new exhibit space is located on the corner of Rio Bravo and Prince Street, one block west of Broadway. The paintings will be one exhibit through the end of July. Please join Waid in celebrating this showing.
